Robbie – The Ironman
I’m your Ironman-in-training, Robbie Turner, a 30-something native Floridian, who just happened to be born in Long Island, NY (I moved to South Florida when I was four, so I’m basically native… really the only bit of New York left in me is a propensity to root for the Yankees over the Red Sox and pretty much any other baseball team).
I’m a University of Florida graduate and a mechanical engineer in Jupiter, FL. I enjoy playing guitar, traveling, pretty much anything Harry Potter, superhero movies, “book club” (as Sarah calls “it”), Lego video games, SCUBA diving (though it’s been ages), rooting for the Gators, Dolphins, and Heat, and running triathlons.
The story of how I got into all this swimming, biking, and running nonsense is somewhat irrelevant. Perhaps I’ll divulge into that tale sometime. Moral of the story: I’ve been a regular cyclist for 6-7 years, an active runner since 2011, and I ran my first triathlon in August of 2012. To date, I’ve run 3 marathons (though I don’t want to count one of them), a handful of half-marathons and 10K’s, and more 5K’s than I can remember. I’ve now completed 2 half-Ironman triathlons, along with a few sprint and international distances as well. I’m really looking forward to the challenges that the full Ironman will bring!
Sarah – The Ironwife

Sarah is super awesome and still needs to write her “About Me” section! She’ll probably want to update this picture too. I guess we’ll just keep this up for now…
Charley – The Ironpup
Charley joined our family in September of 2015, less than five months after Sarah and Robbie got married. She’s a 50-lb mixed breed of a-little-bit-of-everything. She loves long walks, jumping over bushes, chasing bunnies, going to puppy-training at Petsmart, and going to the beach.
She recently survived her first triathlon experience at IRONMAN 70.3 Florida. Hopefully she will be joining the Ironwife on some short runs in the near future, and eventually participate in a few dog friendly 5K’s!
